The event "Airbridge" whose aims were to canvas opinions on the relationship between a Contemporary Art Gallery and the various community/cultural groupings within the city was held today. Adopting a dialogical approach this initial forum, although small in number, raised some interesting points and ideas on how a gallery such as Airspace could broaden its overall appeal.
The information will be transcribed and fed into the ongoing evaluative process at Airspace but equally as important, is that it is seen as the basis for further discussion to open up new understandings and partnerships with the groupings mentioned.
