'Art for the Terrified' An illustrated talk presenting a rudimentary look at the progress of art from classicism to now. Although not a comprehensive art historical talk it will give those who wonder why artists make the work they do, an insight into how the idea of art and the artist has changed over time and resulted in the situation we are currently in where the artisan has become media figure often at the centre of controversy and discussion, but is it really that radical? or a movement away from antiquated ideology?.
